About

Hello, I’m Mario, and welcome to my site.

I’ve been working with computers and electronics for over 10 years now. I’ve been an avid video game player since the 80s when the Nintendo came out. I still remember playing the original Super Mario Bros. until 3 AM with my Dad on a little TV with knobs and an antenna.

I’ve created this site to help people solve their problems with the Xbox 360 and the so-called “Red Ring of Death”. The red ring of death isn’t exactly a ring, but three flashing red lights that show up on your console. It’s really just a generic hardware error.

In Warranty?

I must advise that if you still are under warranty that you really should send your Xbox to Microsoft and have them fix it. All xboxes with the red ring of death get a 3 year extended warranty from the date of manufacture. You will be responsible for shipping the 360 which means you’ll need to find a box and package it safely. You will be able to print a shipping label from your computer and then you’ll need to go to your local UPS center (if in the US).

Out of Warranty?

If you are out of warranty, Microsoft will still fix your red ring of death or e74 issue but it will cost you $99. You will have the option of requesting a shipping label and box.

Your other option, and the reason you’ve come to this site, is to fix it yourself. Head back to http://repairmyxbox360-maro.com and follow our guide on how to fix your 360.

Hello and thanks for visiting. If you at all found this fix useful in solving your Xbox 360 red ring of death problems, please take a minute to donate. Even a dollar helps. Thanks.
